Quotaless Community Code of Conduct
50 Infraction Points = Permanent Ban

Please read each and every one of the rules below thoroughly to avoid consequence(s). If you choose to disregard these rules, a staff member will confront you.

1. Show Respect to all members
If someone misspells your name, or breaks the rules, please do not "harass" them with inappropriate words (refer to rule 8). If they break a rule, don't flame them. Simply just contact a staff member. Also, no flaming is allowed. Disrespectful and rude behavior will NOT be tolerated and a warning will be issued to anyone who violates this rule. This includes racism, threats or threatening statements, and any related hateful posting. If you are being offended by these, immediately contact a staff member by PM (Private Message) or use the report post button. Do not attack other members or staff by posting hateful things and "n00b bashing" (discouraging and not making new members feel welcome), and should assist new members and always make them feel welcome.

Most importantly of all, you shouldn't do this to a staff member, let alone a regular member, as this can lead to 2 infraction points. Perhaps this is one of the most important rules you should keep in mind.

2. Proper Way to Post
The proper way to post is with a topic that DOESN'T already exist. If you create one, it will be deleted. To avoid this situation, use the search feature before posting. Also, post with a proper title. Also, please put a thread/topic in the correct forum location or it will be moved to the correct forum.

3. Swearing
We don't mind if you swear in a post once in a while, but don't use excessive swearing. WORD CENSORERS ARE ON!! Excessive swearing can lead to two infraction points.

4. Avatar and Signature abuse
If you wish to use an avatar, a picture that appears every time you post, it MUST be under 125 by 125 pixels or 50 kb (whichever is smallest). As for signatures, something that appears everytime you post below it, must not be offending to this site or other members and MUST be under 500 characters. No pornographic content is to be used in either the signature or the avatar, Otherwise, if you abuse the use of avatars, you will be unable to display and use one. You must show that you have the privelege of using and displaying avatars.
Signature pictures are limited to 700x200 pixels.

5. No "Impersonating" Staff Members
Anyone decides to try to act like an Admin or a Mod will be issued a warning. Only the Admins and Mods can tell regular members what to do. Pretending to be a Moderator or an Administrator will earn you an instant warning.

6. Don't Spam
Spamming is mainly:

Posting unneeded posts/topics to increase post counter and post rate.

Posting out of boredom.

Posting with few words that have nothing to do with the topic/post.

Posting an Emoticon (smiley) with little or no words.

I don't mind if you stray too far from the topic, but going way overboard for no apparant reason will not be tolerated.

Double/Triple Posting

Posting for fun (testing out your avatar and signiature)

Quoting large images when they are viewable two or three posts up the page. Edit the quote and remove the [IMG] tags please.

Spam posting will only get you a warning (0 points) but excessive spam posting will get you 2 two points.

7. No explicit or injurious material
This includes pornography, links to bad sites regarding dangerous things (stunts), and the use of weapons. This may also include drug-related material.

8. English & Other Languages
Quotaless welcome diversity but please if you wish to speak in a different language or dilect, please make sure to post them on the proper discussion forums.

9. Caps Lock
CAPS LOCK IS THE "INTERNET WAY" FOR YELLING. Please try not to use it, as excessive use can lead to 2 infraction points.

10. One account per person
Each guest or member is only allowed to register once. If you are a guest, you are able to register. But, if you have already registered and are a member, you cannot register again. Please register only once. A person only needs one account per forum board. Violating this will lead to 30 infraction points.

11 Do not create fraud accounts
Please do not create fraud accounts. This will lead to getting your account banned or deleted and will cause a hassle for staff and regular members. This will also lead to 30 infraction points.

12. Do not ask an Admin or Mod to be a Staff Member
Please do NOT ask an Administrator or Moderator to be part of the staff team. Being one is a privelege. If we feel that someone should be on the Staff Team, we will talk it over with other current existing Staff Members. If you constantly keep asking your account will most likely end up being banned or deleted after official warnings. (5 points per time, you never becoming a staff member at the first time.)

13. Do not revive an old topic
Please do not revive an old topic, or else it will be locked. Reviving a topic is posting in a thread that the last post was over 3 months old, without adding anything meaninful or contributing at all. (2 points)

14. Do not cross-post
Cross posting is posting the same issue/remark/question more than once in the same or different forum. Doing so stuffs up the forum and we would have to lock any repeat topics that are related to another already-made topic. If that topic you wish to create already exists, do not post the same issue again. If you have already posted the topic and want to post it again, don't because they will end up locked as well. Please post the topic ONCE and please be patient until someone responds. (2 points)

15. Do not send spam through Private Message (PM)
Please do not send spam PMs to other member to do something, such as joining your forums, posting to a topic, etc. Doing so will lead you to several official warnings or being confronted by staff members. In worse cases you will also be banned after the limit of official warnings or, if the case is not so bad, we will NOT allow you to send any PMs anymore, but you may still be active on this forum.

***If someone send spam PMs to you, please send a PM to a moderator or an administrator with the content of the spam PM in quote(s). The staff will investigate and handle the matter and also deal with the spammer.***

16. Website Advertising
Web advertsing or linking are allowed on our directory and forum, but excessive posting and posting irrelevant links on topics and threads are deemed as spamming and will be banned.

17. Ban Evasion
If you are banned, and you re-register, you are evading the ban and will lead to an IP & e-mail address ban and both being submitted to the Unofficial Forum Spammers Database at fspamlist.com

18. Spam bots and automated registering users are not allowed to post. Quotaless is privately owned, and therefore we can make the decision to block spam bots. If a spam bot registers, we will take legal action, up to and including civil court action. This is considered web-site harassment.

Note:
These rules are set and will affect ALL members. It doesn't matter if you are new, or you have been here since the forum began, everyone should follow them.

While the our staff members try to keep their eye on every post, we cannot do it alone. If you see anyone violating ANY of these rules, please contact an Administrator or a Moderator immediately so that we can take action right away, or even better, use the report post button.
